Yeşilyurt Belediye Başkanı Prof. Dr. İlhan Geçit, “6 Ekim 2024 Pazar günü Çilesiz Mahallesi Aksa Caminin yan tarafındaki alanda düzenleyeceğimiz 19.Uluslararası Turgut Özal Karakucak Güreşlerinin hazırlıklarını tamamladık. Tüm vatandaşlarımızı ve sporseverleri saat 10:30’daki açılış töreni ile karakucak güreşlerini izlemeye davet ediyorum.” diye konuştu.
Yeşilyurt Belediyesinin ev sahipliğinde, Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığı, Yeşilyurt Kaymakamlığı ve Türkiye Geleneksel Güreşler Federasyonu Malatya Temsilciliğinin destekleriyle 6 Ekim 2024 Pazar günü saat 08:00 ile 18:00 arasında Çilesiz Mahallesindeki Aksa Caminin yan tarafındaki alanda 19.Uluslararası Turgut Özal Karakucak Güreşleri düzenlenecek.
Toplam 207 Bin 300 TL. Para Ödülü Dağıtılacak
Ata sporumuz karakucak güreşlerinin yaşatılması ve genç nesillere sağlıklı bir şekilde aktarılması amacıyla düzenlenecek olan karakucak güreşleri büyükler, yıldızlar ve minikler kategorilerinde 21 sıklette gerçekleştirilecek. Toplam 207 bin 300 TL. para ödülünün dağıtılacağı organizasyon için yapılan hazırlıklar tamamlandı.
Karakucak güreşlerinin Türk kültüründe özel bir yere sahip olduğunu söyleyen Yeşilyurt Belediye Başkanı Prof. Dr. İlhan Geçit, ev sahipliği yapmaktan büyük bir onur duydukları 19.Uluslararası Turgut Özal Karakucak Güreşleri için titiz bir hazırlık döneminden geçtiklerini söyledi.

Tüm vatandaşları açılış töreni ile karakucak güreşlerini izlemeye davet eden Başkan Geçit, “Ata sporumuz olan karakucak güreşlerimizi yaşatarak gelecek nesillere aktarmak amacıyla 6 Ekim 2024 Pazar günü saat 08:00 ile 18:00 arasında 19.Uluslararası Turgut Özal Karakucak Güreşlerini gerçekleştireceğiz. Malatya’lı olmasından her zaman onur duyduğumuz rahmetli Turgut Özal’ın adının verildiği bu büyük organizasyonu Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığımız, Yeşilyurt Kaymakamlığımız ve Türkiye Geleneksel Güreşler Federasyonu Malatya Temsilciliğimizle işbirliği halinde gerçekleştireceğiz. Bilindiği üzere karakucak güreşleri Türk Kültüründe özel bir yere sahiptir. Orta Asya’dan Anadolu’ya yaklaşık 10 asırdır devam eden ata sporumuzu yaşatmak ve gelecek kuşaklara taşınması sağlamak bizim için büyük bir önem taşıyor. Rahmetli Turgut Özal’ın adının verildiği bu büyük organizasyona başarıyla ev sahipliği yapmak içinde titiz bir çalışma yürüttük. Çilesiz Aksa Camimizin yan tarafındaki alanda 6 Ekim’de yapılacak olan müsabakalara en güzel şekilde sahipliği yapacağız. Güreşlerin yapılacağı alandaki tüm hazırlıklarımızı tamamladık.
